What they say ....

Thank you for presenting a very interesting and humour filled talk. It went down very well!
Tooting Common, W.I., Feb. '26
I struggled to keep up with all the many Acts that were passed over the years, but obviously, exactly the same societal problems have always existed and our leaders have always struggled to find a solution. It is no wonder that many people dreaded having to use the workhouse, particularly if they knew the character of the Master.  At least the status of women has improved somewhat today ... It was a pleasure to meet you and thank you once again. Ardingly History Society, April '25
.... judging by the later comments,  members really appreciated your knowledge and insights.  I was particularly interested in your comments about Brighton.  My Great Grandfather lived in Park Street in the 1830`s and 1840`s, and I have read Edward Cresy`s 1849 report on sanitation and health issues in Brighton - horrific by today`s standards.
U3A Petersfield
... thank you very much for giving us you talk on your work and experiences on Heir Hunters, I had some fantastic feedback from our ladies and some took your details for other organisations.  Hope to see you again in the near future.  Gates Green W.I.
Thank you so much for your talk yesterday evening. It was both interesting and informative. Would you care to book another talk in your diary to round up to 10? Deal F.H.S., April '25
Thank you so much for such an interesting, informative and entertaining talk you gave at our meeting last week. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and you sparked numerous conversations over tea with people sharing their family histories, amusing anecdotes and there were even tales of a few 'skeletons in the cupboard' !!
I look forward to inviting you back very soon.
Butts Brow W.I., June '25
... thank you for your talk enjoyed by the 52 members who attended. We knew that we would have a good crowd, because people had been very enthused when they heard that you were visiting us, and they were not disappointed.

NW Kent Family History Society, Bromley
It was lovely to meet you at our meeting at Field Place, and thank you for a most interesting talk.  Everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy it.
I hope that we may meet up again at some future events, and thank you once again for coming to talk to us

... we received wonderful feedback – our customers really appreciated having access to Lady Teviot's expertise. Many of the feedback forms commented on Lady Teviot's great knowledge of the subject, and her generosity in sharing this knowledge so freely.  If there is ever another opportunity to welcome you both back.  Laura Landman - Brisbane City Council
... it was amazing and so very successful.     Mary even had ladies who went from venue to venue, some without a car.  They became like friends by the time we had finished.  The only thing Mary thought was 'I hope I don't keep repeating something from the previous talk',  but if she did no one noticed.
